Una colección privada: los Abelló

There is still time to enjoy this emergence of art with the added value that they are works that have never been shown to the public, since it closes down on March 1st. An art compendium of countless value in which special relevance is given to different sections, such as the room dedicated to the views of Madrid, the collection of still life and flower vases, Goya and the goyesque or to European painting from the 19th and 20th centuries.

Special importance has also been given to the drawing as an artistic genre with its own personality, an aspect of plastic arts that has not always been taken into account by private collectors. And so, the exhibition is a parallel path seeing the works of art in a more naked way, the raw drawing, whose skill you can admire in works by Picasso, Van Gogh, Schiele or Bacon.

Tickets start at 6 euros and there are discounts available for groups and other collectives, with the opening times being from Tuesday to Sunday from 10.00am until 8.00pm. To top off the visit, what better way than enjoying the view from the Mirador, the viewpoint on the eighth floor that offers a privileged view of the city and visual access to the intricate structure of the Palacio de Comunicaciones. Almost as unique as the terrace on our hotel with a view of the Puerta del Sol.

The exhibition space have capacity control and entrance is allowed every 30 minutes, at a cost of 2€ for adults and 0.50€ for children.
