Enjoy the two best amusement parks in Madrid

There is no better day out for families than a day full of fun and excitement at an amusement park. In Madrid we are lucky to have two of the best in Spain. Laughs, emotions and adrenaline are the ingredients guaranteed to create the most fantastic day. If you haven’t heard of them before, here is some information on what you must not miss during your visit.

Warner Park

A park to enjoy all the magic of Warner Bros and its most popular characters, including Tweety and Sylvester, Bugs Bunny or the Roadrunner. There are five different theme areas: Hollywood Boulevard pays tribute to famous movie stars such as Gary Cooper, Natalie Wood, Julia Roberts and Harrison Ford; Cartoon village is for the kids and the place to enjoy the Looney Tunes; Old West Territory for enjoying a far-west experience; Movie World Stories, a giant studio to experience all the magic and fun of the movies; and finally, Super Heroes World, where we can become true superheroes.

Among the most exciting attractions, you really must have a go on Superman, with a 50-metre fall and a top speed of 90 kilometres per hour; Batman: La Fuga, an inverted roller coaster that reaches 80 kilometres per hour; and Coaster Express, one of the most popular rides at the park.

Kids will also enjoy some of the best shows such as Looney Tunes: Dance Festival, where Daffy Duck is the producer of a dance competition in which all most famous Looney Tunes stars get involved, the Police Academy show full of great tricks and stunts, or the famous parade with all the most popular Warner Bros characters.

Madrid amusement park

The oldest amusement park in Madrid, opened in 1969, is a place full of adrenaline experiences. Among the attractions that create the most vertigo is Abismo (Abyss), a state-of-the-art roller coaster where you speed into an abyss from a high point of 49 metres and at a speed of 100 km/h; Tifón (Typhoon), where you climb and swing as you turn and move on a thrilling journey that reaches a top height of more than 15 metres; or the Tornado, an inverted roller coaster with scary loop-the-loops and a maximum speed of 80 km/h.

There is also a special area for the kids at Nickelodeonland. If you are visiting with the family, don’t miss The Adventure of Dora, where you get on board a lovely jeep to discover a world of surprises with Dora, or the Water Games where kids can discover the underwater world where all the SpongeBob characters live.

Among a great choice of shows, don’t miss the Paw Patrol children’s musical where you can learn to dance the “Chickaleta Polka” or the “Pup Pup Boogie ‘.

Enjoy a fantastic day full of adrenaline and loads and loads of fun.
