In Chamberí, close to the lively Plaza de Olavide, there is also a couple of good bars such as Nueva Oldenburg or Kloster, located right in front. In the former they have a wide range of German beers that can be accompanied by traditional sausages; in the latter, they offer generous tapas with each beer in a pleasant setting (with an exotic Christmas decoration all year long) to sample delicious beers such as Erdinger, light and flavourful at the same time.
In the no less lively street of Calle Argumosa in the Lavapiés district, is another bar that specialises in quality beers, with excellent offers on tap: El Pedal. They stage tastings every month and have a terrace that is ideal to enjoy its intense drinks by the street.
And for those that would like to enjoy beer in intimacy, there are many beer shops that have a surprising variety on offer: Cervezorama (Calle San Andrés, 29), Más que cervezas (Calle León, 32) and La Tienda de la Cerveza (Calle Ruda, 32, in La Latina) to mention just three of them.
