The scariest time of the year is approaching in the Spanish capital, and there are plenty of activities on offer for Halloween lovers. In this article we present three exciting proposals, but be warned, they’re only suitable for the most daring. Are you scared or do you want to read on?
Halloween in Parque Warner
Once again this year, Parque Warner in Madrid brings us a terrifying programme that can be enjoyed from the 30th of September to the 1st of November as well as a new attraction that is suitable only for the most intrepid, Batman Gotham City Escape, a roller coaster that reaches 104 km/h and a maximum height of 45 metres.
This year there are 4 horror rides where terror is guaranteed: Crime Alley, Night of Chaos: IT Experience, You’ll Float Too, The Warren Files: Passage of Terror, and Freddy Krueger: A New Nightmare. In addition, from the 20th to the 27th of October from 10 pm to 3 am and on the 13th and the 31st of October from midnight to 5 am there is Halloween Scary Nights, an attraction that is only suitable for the bravest. When this event starts more than 100 terrifying characters will invade the park and there’ll be no escape for anyone. For the little ones, there is the Children’s Passage: The Halloween Animated Forest, as well as the final Halloween-inspired parade.
Halloween in Parque de Atracciones
From the 30th of September to the 1st of November, Parque de Atracciones de Madrid also offers a variety of proposals designed to terrify visitors. Area 51 is a Scare Zone where mystery and science fiction combine in a space dedicated to horror classics of the 80s. There are also four terror trails, The Temple of Shanarkai, the already popular The Walking Dead Experience, The Old Mansion, and Asylum.
For the little ones there is The Labyrinth, where children have to solve a series of riddles in order to escape, and Dark Cabaret, the craziest, most outrageous show ever seen at the Amusement Park.
Pumpkin Patch in Aranjuez
Over the course of 7 weekends the Huerta de Aranjuez offers an option that is very typical in the United States: the Pumpkin Patch. And while it may be less terrifying than the previous plans, it’s perfect for the whole family, the main activity consisting of finding your favourite pumpkin and decorating it. They also offer other fun activities, such as the sack race, tractor rides and the corn maze. The entry fee also includes a snack consisting of corn on the cob and the drink of your choice… the perfect way to spend an alternative Halloween.
Three proposals that will make this Halloween unique. And if you’re thinking of spending it in Madrid, don’t miss these fantastic offers that we have prepared for you at Hotel Moderno.
